From restaurant to homecooked

Lately I have really been trying to budget money more effectively.  Going out to eat at restaurants takes money that really adds up over time.  In this page I am experimenting with grocery store items that I will use to create restaurant style meals at a fraction of the price.

Pad Thai with chicken

Used: Annie Chun’s Pad Thai with one boneless, skinless chicken breast.

It made 2 portions but it probably could have been stretched to three.

Next time I would add more veggies.

Price per serving (if 2 servings): $2 per person.

Average restaurant price:  $9 per person.
